KYUSHU Yakitori Izakaya

I went for lunch. It's good value and the Kawa skewers are nice and crispy. It's not grilled with charcoal but I don't expect that for this price. The fries were a bit soggy, burger bun a bit burnt. Ambience is cute, service was friendly. Will be back for more skewers!

Really very good eating experience !! The service is very good I really love the atmosphere here – it’s filled with so many childhood cartoon elements that it feels like stepping right into my memories . The vibe is super authentic, just like a real Japanese izakaya. Perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a drink on your own.

An incredible experience! This is very different than standard Japanese restaurants. It is almost a Japanese Dim-sum. Seafood and pork are very well represented. Fish eggs in many delicious ways. Whelks are memorable. The service is very friendly and fast, the place is beautiful and spotless. A gem!

Visited this restaurant for dinner and mainly ordered skewers, especially since they had a Wednesday 20% off promo for skewers. The flavor was decent overall, and there was no wait for a table, which was nice. It wasn’t too crowded either, making for a relaxed dining experience. One thing that could be improved is consistency in food temperature — the first round of skewers came out warm, but the ones after that were served piping hot. It would’ve been better if all the dishes were served equally fresh and hot. Also tried a cocktail — it was okay, nothing too special.

If you are a fan of Japanese snacks and yakitori, you will enjoy coming over on the weekends~ Food comes out slowly but u can tell everything is made after order so im okay with it! i love their garlic beef yakitori, griller chicken wings and several of their side appetizers, some were alright but overall food was 4/5. - dont get the yakisoba, its skippable haha. But drinks were 5/5. Really enjoyed their cocktails. I got the mango ice tea with vodka, refreshing and light! They also have tons of sake options, and i love how tou can choose your own cup! Cute! Really enjoyed my recent experience at KYUSHU. Shared a whole bunch of appetizers and snacks, and went all out for a yakitori (grilled skewers) omakase lol... didn't know what we were getting but I enjoyed it, especially the grilled abalone! Some must-try items: - Kawahagi (fish jerky) - Uzurazuke (quail eggs) - Tsubu Kimchi (whelk) - Aburi Mentaiko (seared spicy cod roe), must pair with sake! - Nankotsu Karaage (fried chicken knee cartilage) - Honey Ginger Soda (with or without vodka) The whole place is lit up with lights from the "trees", very spacious, and decorated with childhood manga/anime posters and action figures all over ^^ The restaurant also has daily promotions on food and drinks, and lunch specials everyday.

A great spot for enjoying drinks and skewers with friends and family, and it's kid-friendly with a good variety of food options. The staff are extremely friendly. We particularly loved the yuzu wasabi served with some skewers. The decorations added a personal touch, featuring many nostalgic throwbacks. We definitely plan to return and take advantage of the daily discounts and promotions!
